Why I Like Math A Lot?
So many people tell me I am stupid. However, I like Math.
Do you know why I like Math so much?
Well, in Math, everything is obvious. Every theorems, every formulas are derived.
So I always know why something is so.
And that’s not all. If something is not obvious for me, and I ask the professor, I know that it’s my fault.
It’s obvious. Perhaps my mind lapse of between the few crucial seconds when the professor explain it. It’s my fault.
However, Math teachers and Math professors don’t just get mad. They explain the stuffs to me as if it’s something tough to understand.
You see why I love Math?
However, life is not like Math. So many things in life are confusing and suspicious.
Why people defend truth by censorship and violence? Why when people talk about morality, they talk against porn, prostitution, and greed. Why not against stealing? Why no terrorists blow up thieves den? Why they blow up innocent tourists? Why difference of religious doctrines and believe justify war?
To me, all those are not obvious. Most apologetic explanation raise even more confusions and suspicions.
However, we have the Math of life. We have something like math that can consistently explain life’s phenomena in ways that make sense.
It’s called science. The math of inanimate object is Physics, which you’re all familiar with.
The math of life is evolution theory. That one is heavily censored.

However, most of what people know about evolution theory is just the skin.
We know the basic of evolution theory in school. What we don’t know is that evolution theory can also be useful to predict humans’ nature and preferences.
From proper understanding of humans’ nature, we can predict what people would do. Then we can answer, explain, and predict their behaviors.

Why people defend truth by censorship? Because they don’t defend truth. They defend often untrue political opinions that serve their interests.
Why people oppose porn, prostitution, and greed? Because when we’re not at war, we’re in a race. When we’re in a race people want to knock down those who run the fastest. So many people are envy and want to criminalize success and happiness. If you enjoy life, or make a lot of money, they’re going to say it’s wrong.
Why people fight over religious doctrines? That’s because the way to be successful in countries that do not embrace meritocracy is to pit people against each other. The easiest justification for that comes from faith based fairy tales we call religions.
