It’s because different laws govern different countries. In rich countries, the law motivate people to be productive. In poor countries, productive consensual means to satisfy ones’ greed is prohibited or stiffled. So the people simply satisfy their greeds through corruptions and dictatorship.

The problem with religions are not that they support violence, or peace.
The problem is that the religions support mercy when justice demand violent response, and violence when there isn’t anything significant to retaliate too.
