Will They Still Kill Each Other For This?
In Indonesia there are religious groups that do sweeping against café, games place, to uphold “morality.” Speaking of morality, most people would agree that corruption is immoral. Yet, the sweeping will motivate entrepreneurs to bribe cops for protection. Are those religious groups aware of it? Of course. Among entrepreneurs we know that the whole thing is just an extortion scheme where cops and they get involved. However, they use religions to mask their motives to get support or avoid condemnation from the people.
In Timor Timur, there are plenty of soldiers that are fired. You know what? In the beginning, those are people that have no better skills but killing others. So they join the heroic independent fighting against what they call Indonesian’s oppressors. Well Indonesian government is not that good I must admit. Once the Indonesian is gone, they’re no longer needed. So they get fired.
When we’re not at war, we’re in a race. Freedom means competition. Some people don’t want to compete. So they want war.
There are so many people like that. They’re only good at killing each other and demand appeasements from the meek. Those people will kill each other no matter what. There is nothing we can do about it. If possible, oh, if only it’s possible, we should let them and stay away from them. That’s why I like globalization. That way the peaceful and productive can simply move to another country. Let the bigots and hot headed keep killing each other in theirs.
The Muslims fought Christians during crusade in the middle age. When both sides realized that war take so much resources it’s not even fun anymore they make peace.
