Why Moral Issues Become Porn Issues
We’ve seen what happen when communist countries prohibit wealth creation. Poor Saddam and Kim Jong Ill cannot make money by building giant software empire or porn sites instead. So, if you can’t make porn sites, and you can’t make giant software empire, what will you do to get rich? We know what those two do.
The spirit of capitalism is that we allow people to be successful. We simply require them to be productive enough first. Perhaps, tolerance toward winning combined with some socialism to buy votes from the losers can benefit both losers and winner from the structure we have. That way, we can gain prosperity while still maintaining social stability.
Productivity as a whole will be maximized when we properly align our interests to some common goals. In companies this are done by dividend sharing.
Imagine if governments are business. Then all citizens are stock holders. If we reduce governments spending, governments will have a lot of budget surplus. That budget surplus is called profit. Governments can distribute the surplus in equal share to everyone in the form of dividend.
Got that far? There goes poverty. Here’s more.
Now, if you have a stock, do you get more stocks from making more kids? Of course not. If you want to have more stocks you need to buy more stocks. We can emulate this by taxing kids the same amount of money the market value of our citizenship worth.
To be frank, I think it’ll be more motivational and useful, at least for males, that rather than getting more cash, the productive males get more women and make more kids. However, that will create market distortion because not all males want women and kids and not all women want rich males.
