And that’s also why many oppose porn. Porn, unlike romance, encourages free sex rather than marriage.
Under marriage, features under the control of everyone, including the uncompetitive, like loyalty, fidelity, modesty, gain importance replacing features of those who are competitive, like beauty, wealth, and brain.
Those who are uncompetitive and unattractive will be out of the gene pool if porn and free sex is legal. So they fight it to the death.
All right, all right. So what’s the solution? Prohibitions of consensual acts are not consensual. It seems that we have no choice.
We do. Even when someone put gun on our head, we always have at least 3 choices. We can fight, we can appease, or we can run. Each has advantages, and disadvantages.
Think it this way. Absolutely free sex and reproduction might have some negative consequences.
What about if every women pick Brad Pitt? Say Brad Pitt makes so many kids he doesn’t have time to be a movie star and is poor. But Brad is so handsome every woman pick Brad anyway.
So Brad makes a lot of kids. Also, governments commit to support all kids that cannot support themselves, so the rest of us work hard and pay tax to support increasingly higher cost of raising increasingly numerous Brad’s kids.
